onwards and upwards

Well, we did it!

Finals are officially over.

NO MORE GROSS ANATOMY (sorry mr. skeleton)!!!!!

And even though this seems like an over-dramatic, anti-climatic statement…
It truly was the longest week of my life. It was grueling studying for 5 comprehensive finals. Especially in anatomy. Yuck.

The even better news (and yes I’m being sarcastic) is that we’ve already registered for classes next semester and guess what…..our work load is even worse! We’ll be in class even longer hours and have 3 really difficult classes instead of 2.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves…this month break has only just begun;)

And mine is starting off right with a date tonight---at Parlor Market.

This weekend holds not 2 but 3 Christmas parties in-store. Followed by 3 more during the next week.

Who said December was laid-back?

Oh yeah. Nobody.

I’ll be here some (Jackson) and there some (Meridian) and in-between some. So, if you’re around either of those places……holler.

In my free time I’ll be doing as much yoga as possible and hitting up the trails in order to prepare for the Blues Half-Marathon on January 7th…of course I forgot I had signed up for that until about 2 weeks ago. It’s a good thing i’ve been running long-distances for 18 years now. 13 miles isn’t anything compared to 26. Sorry half-ers.

It’s bizarre to me that I will be 30 in a little over a month.

Happy holiday season to you my friends! I hope that it’s merry and bright and full of goodness!

with joy in my heart,
jen
